One thing I love about the indie side of the writing life (I’m a hybrid author, meaning I publish traditionally and independently, at least for now), is control over the pricing of my eBooks. I have one publisher (they’re very nice people so this isn’t a personal knock), who is charging more than $10 for the eBook version (I actually stand corrected on this albeit for a limited time since it’s on special this month for $1.99). This is absolutely insane because out of 9K subscribers on my list, I don’t think any of them are going to be handing out ten bucks for an eBook.
